20th ICC/USCIB New York Vis Pre-Moot
The International Chamber of Commerce's (ICC) office in New York and the United States Council for International Business (USCIB)/ICC USA are organising their annual New York Vis pre-moot on Friday, February 20, 2026, to help teams prepare for the 33rd Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot. Teams are invited to submit their application. The organising committee will start the selection process after the application deadline of Monday, November 24, 2025. Teams will be informed by Friday, December 5, 2025 of the outcome of their application.
The ICC/USCIB New York Vis Pre-Moot will enable teams to:
- Measure up against and interact with other teams,
- Receive comments from and interact with arbitrators from different professional, cultural, and legal backgrounds,
- Practice and improve their advocacy skills,
- Refine and adjust their oral arguments, and
- Interact with members of the Secretariat of the ICC International Court of Arbitration
The organizing committee will invite experienced practitioners to act as arbitrators in the pre-moot. The practitioners will evaluate the students’ performance and provide feedback.
