ICC YAAF: The Future of commercial arbitration in Kuwait
Join us for this afternoon ICC YAAF panel, for the first time in Kuwait to learn more about commercial arbitration, its future, the challenges that facing the commercial entities to shift into arbitration and the recent development in the country in ADR field.
The ICC Young Arbitration and ADR Forum (YAAF) is pleased to host its first event in Kuwait on 17 February 2025. This panel, featuring leading lawyers and practitioners, will provide insights into commercial arbitration in Kuwait, the need for dedicated arbitration law and practice, and the expectations of in-house counsels regarding arbitration clauses.
The panel will explore the prospects of commercial arbitration for companies, the importance of understanding it, and how to get started, especially for young practitioners and in-house counsels. The discussion will then focus on the need for dedicated arbitration law and practice in Kuwait. The panel will be interactive, encouraging engagement between the panellists and the audience.
It will be followed by a networking session to exchange knowledge and thoughts on the arbitration and ADR field and to learn more about the ICC YAAF community.
