ICC YAAF Masterclass: Mastering Your Craft in International Arbitration
Join us Online and in Abuja for the second in the series of the ICC YAAF "Passing on the Baton" event focusing on Mastering your craft in International Arbitration.
International arbitration has emerged as a preferred mechanism for resolving cross-border disputes, offering parties a neutral forum and specialised expertise. As global trade and investment continue to rise, the demand for skilled professionals in this field is more critical than ever.
This Masterclass aims to equip young arbitration practitioners with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in international arbitration, covering essential aspects from foundational principles to advanced strategies.
The event will also consist of arbitration subjects like cross-examination, jurisdictional objection, damages calculation, post-hearing briefs, etc. It will also include important business development topics such as branding, building a book of arbitration business, and handling first arbitral appointments.
The Masterclass is aimed at the following objectives:
