Join the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and the International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC) in Paris on 14-15 October 2025 for the annual ICC-FIDIC Conference on International Construction Contracts and Dispute Resolution.

Travel and accomodation

Participants are responsible for making their own travel arrangements and hotel reservations. 

We are only able to dispatch visa invitation letters to support your visa application upon receipt of your registration and full payment of your registration fees.

Cancellation policy

50% of the registration fee will be refunded if notice of cancellation is received in writing before Friday 12 September 2025. Cancellations after this date are non-refundable, except in exceptional circumstances, such as visa refusals and illness. In these cases, a minimum cancellation fee of 20% of the registration fee will be charged. Subject to agreement from ICC Global Events prior to the event, the registration may be transferred to another person from the same company or organisation at no extra charge. Updated registration information will be required. Please note that ICC reserves the right to cancel this event or to make minor alterations to the content and timing of the programme or to the identity of the speakers. In the unlikely event of cancellation, delegates will be offered a full refund. ICC will not, however, be held responsible for any related expense incurred by the participant.

These events are eligible for credits before the Paris Bar. Please note that this is subject to validation of ICC Global Events’ application (or individual application, as necessary).

Description

This intensive one-day workshop, organised by FIDIC, offers a deep dive into the multi-tier dispute resolution mechanisms embedded within FIDIC contracts. It focuses on the roles of both the Engineer and the Dispute Board (DB) in facilitating the avoidance and resolution of disputes.

Through a blend of presentations and practical exercises, participants will explore best practices for dispute avoidance, understand the procedures for dispute resolution under FIDIC, and learn how effective contract management can contribute to smoother project delivery. This workshop is designed to provide a balanced mix of theoretical understanding and hands-on application, equipping participants with the knowledge and skills to minimise disputes and manage them effectively when they arise.
