ICC Dispute Resolution Universities Programme
In line with the pledge of the ICC International Court of Arbitration to ensure access to justice and the rule of law globally, the International Chamber of Commerce has been working to make education on arbitration and amicable dispute resolution (ADR) more accessible for future generations of lawyers across the world. As the global leader in dispute resolution, we have been working with universities from diverse regions and countries to support them in teaching arbitration and ADR, creating knowledge accessibility for all.
ICC Dispute Resolution Services is excited to announce its ICC Dispute Resolution Universities Programme, scheduled to take place in person in Paris from 9 to 11 December 2025, and, as an alternative option for the universities who cannot travel to Paris, online from 2 to 5 December 2025.
This programme is specifically designed for university students and features a series of modules offered in three half-day sessions in-person or four 2-hour sessions for our online programme. Participants will explore the arbitration process in depth, covering topics from the constitution of the arbitral tribunal to arbitral awards. Additionally, the programme will introduce students to the ICC International Court of Arbitration and its activities, as well as give insights into our ADR methods.
Students from selected universities will have the unique opportunity to learn about arbitral and ADR proceedings from experienced ICC staff members. They will also engage in practical exercises and case scenarios, providing valuable hands-on training to all programme participants.
Applications for universities are open until 5 October 2025. This programme is designed for universities, and we will only accept applications coming from the university professors and university administration. Applications from students and incomplete applications will be discarded. Applicants will be informed of the outcome of their application by 12 October 2025. A second round of applications will be open until 12 October, from which applicants will be selected if additional spots are available.
ICC is looking forward to hosting university students at our headquarters for this valuable educational experience.
