ICC Dispute Resolution Universities Programme
In line with the pledge of the ICC International Court of Arbitration to ensure access to justice and the rule of law globally, the International Chamber of Commerce has been working to make education on arbitration and amicable dispute resolution (ADR) more accessible for future generations of lawyers across the world.
As the global leader in dispute resolution, ICC Dispute Resolution Services is excited to announce its ICC Dispute Resolution Universities Programme, scheduled to take place from 21 to 23 May 2025.
The three-day programme is specifically designed for university students and features a series of modules offered in half-day sessions. Participants will explore the arbitration process in-depth, covering topics from the constitution of arbitral tribunal to arbitral awards. Additionally, the programme will introduce students to the ICC International Court of Arbitration and its activities, as well as give insights into ADR methods.
Students from selected universities will have the unique opportunity to learn about arbitral proceedings from experienced ICC staff members at ICC Global Headquarters in Paris. They will also engage in practical exercises and case scenarios, providing valuable hands-on training to all programme participants.
We will also offer universities that are not traveling to Paris the opportunity to observe the Programme online. Online places will be limited.
Applications for universities are open until 14 February 2025. ICC is looking forward to welcoming the universities. This programme is designed for universities, and we will give preference to the applications coming directly from the university professors and university administration. Applicants will be informed of the outcome of their application by 27 February 2025.
The photos and audio-visual recordings taken during the event may be used and published by ICC, its subsidiaries, affiliates, or co-organizers of the event, for informational or promotional purposes in printed materials or online, including on ICC websites and in social media. Participation in the programme implies agreement to such use of photos or audio-visual recordings in which the participant may appear unless ICC receives written notification to the contrary.
When applying, Universities are responsible to ensure that they have sufficient funding for their travel and stay in Paris. No sponsorship from the ICC is available in this regard.
When submitting your application, please provide an email address or telephone number at which you agree to be reached to answer on an urgent basis any question related to your application.
