ICC YAAF "Young Practitioners in International Arbitration: Career Pathways and Practical Insights"
Explore how to build a career in international arbitration with leading practitioners from Taiwan and the region. Hear their personal journeys, challenges, and practical strategies for success as they share insights on developing expertise, building networks, and advancing in this dynamic field. International arbitration has become an important mechanism for resolving cross border disputes, offering increasing opportunities for young legal professionals to participate on the global stage. However, navigating the path from academic training to professional involvement can often feel challenging and unclear.
In this special session, ICC YAAF, together with the ADR Committee of the Taiwan Bar Association and the Young Members Group (YMG) of the CIArb East Asia Branch Taiwan Chapter, is delighted to present “Young Practitioners in International Arbitration: Career Pathways and Practical Insights.”
This in person session brings together five experienced professionals who will share their career journeys, from early academic foundations to practical experience in international arbitration, and discuss the defining moments that shaped their professional growth. The panelists will explore how young practitioners can build an international mindset, develop professional and procedural expertise, strengthen global networks and connections, and understand the diverse roles and challenges that arise in arbitration proceedings.
Through candid sharing of first hand experiences, participants will gain practical guidance on how to bridge theory and practice, cultivate essential skills, and identify concrete steps for career development in international arbitration.
This event is accredited by the TWBA for Continuing Legal Education hours in the specialized field of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) law.
This event is proudly co-organized by ICC YAAF, ADR Committee of the Taiwan Bar Association, CIArb Taiwan YMG, and Attorneys Academy of the Taiwan Bar Association. This event will be conducted in Mandarin.
