Discover how third-party funding (“TPF”) may revolutionise dispute resolution in Indonesia. Join industry experts to find out its benefits, dispel misconceptions, and learn how it can serve as an access to justice in the context of international arbitration for Indonesian parties.
This event features a series of engaging sessions designed to provide comprehensive overview and understanding of TPF as well as its transformative potential in the Indonesian arbitration landscape. The programme begins with a "TPF 101" session in which Burford Capital will explain the fundamentals of TPF, including how it works and its benefits for both funded parties and funders. Following this, a panel discussion delves into the practicalities and dynamics of TPF, with insights from third-party funders, legal practitioners, and the ICC. The event will conclude with a session focusing on the regulatory perspective, on the prospects of TPF in Indonesia, including its potential to finance domestic-nuanced disputes.
The event aims is to educate the market and demonstrate how TPF can improve access to justice. Participants will have the opportunity to engage with experts, participate in Q&A sessions, and network with peers, making this a must-attend event for anyone interested in the future of arbitration in Indonesia.
