ICC YAAF: Third Party Funding – Every Penny of It
Join us for a lively ICC YAAF discussion on the practical aspects and less-than-obvious implications of third-party funding in international arbitration, followed by a reception, held at the occasion of Warsaw Disputes Days, Asset Recovery CEE and Collective Redress CEE conferences.
This ICC YAAF session offers an opportunity to explore key issues surrounding third-party funding in international arbitration, including current trends in the CEE region, recent guidelines, the role of legal finance, fee arrangements, funding structures and their strategic benefits, as well as funders’ criteria and approaches to risk analysis. The speakers will examine how the incentives created by third-party funding influence the preparation, conduct and resolution of cases, including counsel’s strategy, settlement negotiations, the allocation of costs by arbitral tribunals, and the approach of arbitral institutions to financial management and disclosure throughout the process.
Venue: CMS Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang Pośniak i Bejm sp. k., Varso Tower, Chmielna 69, 43rd floor, 00-801 Warsaw
