ICC YAAF: On China's New Arbitration Act
China’s new Arbitration Act reshapes arbitration with a China nexus. Join us for an interactive ICC YAAF event where arbitration practitioners share their experience with arbitration in China and discuss the newest developments.
This event will provide a practical overview of the key features of the new Arbitration Act and its implications for arbitration proceedings in China, including jurisdiction, party autonomy, enforcement, and interaction with Chinese state courts.
A panel of young arbitration practitioners with hands-on experience in China-related disputes will discuss how the new framework is likely to operate in practice, share perspectives from recent cases, and reflect on what users of arbitration should expect going forward.
The session is designed for practitioners and in-house counsel seeking a clear, practice-oriented discussion of arbitration in China under the new legislative landscape. The event will also provide a possibility to network with the German ICC YAAF community and discuss current developments.
Venue: Dentons, Nextower, Turn-und-Taxis-Platz 6, 60313 Frankfurt am Main, Germany
