ICC YAAF: Mining Arbitration Breakfast
Objective
This event will take place as part of the DRC Mining Week in Lubumbashi, offering a unique platform at the intersection of the mining and legal sectors. It will be hosted as a networking breakfast, bringing together young arbitration practitioners and professionals from both the legal and mining sectors in a friendly, dynamic, and interactive setting.
Participants will have a valuable opportunity to engage directly with experts in arbitration and mining, as well as with the ICC YAAF representative for the DRC. The session will include a presentation of the ICC YAAF’s mission, its global network, and the opportunities it provides to emerging practitioners, particularly in Francophone Africa.
This event is part of a wider initiative to expand the ICC YAAF’s presence in the DRC and to cultivate a vibrant community of emerging arbitration practitioners.

At ICC, we believe that through training and mentorship, we can shape the next generation of leading international arbitration and ADR experts. Through the ICC Young Arbitration and ADR Forum (YAAF) network, we are able to better inform, connect and inspire young professionals with interests in dispute resolution and dispute avoidance.
Throughout the world, ICC YAAF organises a number of educational and social events that allow young professionals to discover best practices, discuss topical issues, network and create meaningful connections with experienced practitioners.
