ICC YAAF House Debate Series: Advocacy in Action
Join us for the first-ever ICC YAAF House Debate Series, an exciting new format that combines substantive legal discussion with the art of advocacy. This inaugural event will feature a keynote address by an ICC Court Member, followed by four brilliant advocates battling over two pressing arbitration questions:
- Motion 1: Should parties make more use of ICC Expedited Procedure Rules?
- Motion 2: Should arbitrations involving state-owned entities be conducted any differently than other arbitrations?
The event will take place at the ICC Hearing Centre, offering attendees an exclusive opportunity to tour and experience the ICC’s stunning new hearing premises.
The event is open to young arbitration and ADR practitioners as well as to students.

Through the ICC Young Arbitration and ADR Forum (YAAF) network, we are able to better inform, connect and inspire young professionals with interests in dispute resolution and dispute avoidance.
Throughout the world, ICC YAAF organises a number of educational and social events that allow young professionals to discover best practices, discuss topical issues, network and create meaningful connections with experienced practitioners.
