ICC YAAF: Effective Advocacy: tools and techniques for handling expert evidence
Join us for this panel discussion from the perspectives of an expert, practitioner and arbitrator, sharing practical tips on how to effectively handle expert evidence in arbitrations. The event is free of charge but seats are limited.
The panel discussion will cover issues such as:
- How to identify the main points for cross examination;
- How to approach and prepare for the cross examination of experts;
- How to keep a Tribunal engaged / make sure they are following;
- What a Tribunal is looking for from expert evidence/ submissions on the points of quantum;
- How a Tribunal deals with huge differences of expert opinion;
- How to work with your expert to prepare for a hearing; and
- The different forms of presenting expert evidence – cross examination, hot tubbing, etc.
