ICC YAAF: Document Production in International Arbitration – can it be efficient?
Join ICC YAAF during the first London Arbitration Week (LAW) for a discussion about document production. Document production has a reputation in the international arbitration community for being inefficient and costly. Although document production provides parties with fair access to documents relevant to their case, many find the time and cost involved is often disproportionate to the benefits of the exercise. Many also report that document production is used tactically to delay arbitration proceedings.
At this ICC YAAF session, a panel of rising arbitration practitioners will share their varied experiences with the document production process. Panellists will discuss solutions to make the process more efficient for all participants in the arbitration, ranging from potential areas for Tribunal involvement to top tips for counsel to manage the process.
