Join us for a lively ICC YAAF discussion offering insight into the dynamics within arbitral tribunals and how they shape tribunal’s functioning and deliberations.

This ICC YAAF event will offer an opportunity to explore how arbitral tribunals really operate and reach decisions. The discussion will address some of the factors that may influence tribunal decision-making, including cultural differences, risks of groupthink and seniority dynamics, as well as the respective roles of presiding and co-arbitrators, and arbitrators’ interactions with arbitral secretaries.

Speakers will also examine current trends and best practices in tribunal interactions behind closed doors, including the organisation of the tribunal’s workflow, management of disagreements, intentional design of deliberations and the use of structured protocols aimed at enhancing the quality of collective decision-making while preserving the independence of individual judgment.

Participants of all ages are welcome.

Venue: Ellex Valiunas, J. Jasinskio g. 2, Vilnius, Lithuania.
