Objective

Beyond formal proceedings and procedural rules lie the realities of arbitration practice: difficult decisions, unexpected challenges, professional relationships and lessons learned through experience. This ICC YAAF event offers a relaxed and interactive setting for candid conversations about the experiences and practical realities that often go undiscussed.

Through a lively, moderated conversation, experienced and emerging practitioners will share personal insights, memorable experiences and lessons from navigating professional dilemmas, managing expectations and exercising sound judgment. The discussion will explore the unwritten aspects of arbitration practice, encouraging honest reflections while respecting confidentiality and professional obligations.

The event will bring together practitioners at different career stages for an open exchange of perspectives, questions and experiences. Participants can look forward to engaging discussions, practical takeaways and an opportunity to build meaningful connections through informal networking.

Who should attend?

Young and mid-level arbitration and ADR practitioners, in-house counsel, other professionals interested in international arbitration, and students seeking greater exposure to the field.
