ICC Institute African Regional Chapter
Introduction to Construction Contracting

Wednesday 29 July 2026 | 13:00-14:00 CEST | Zoom

The construction industry plays a crucial role in the economy at both global and local levels. With multiple stakeholders and long-term projects, the construction industry is also characterised by frequent conflicts. These disputes can severely hinder project completion.

Recognising the significance of construction law as a critical facet of business law, the African Chapter of the Institute has initiated a special webinar series to enhance understanding of the industry's specific characteristics and challenges and to explore potential remedies. The first session will take place on Wednesday 29 July 2026 on Zoom at 13:00-14:00 CEST and will delve into the Construction Contract, an essential legal instrument guiding project execution. Participants will gain insights into the contract's objectives, the intricate processes involved, and the complexities of its structure, content, and execution. This session will be moderated by Council member Habibatou Touré and feature Institute member Brahim Mouelhi as the speaker.
