Join us for an interactive ICC Potluck conversation on two defining developments shaping the future of ICC Arbitration: the new 2026 ICC Rules of Arbitration and the lessons learned from eight years of the Expedited Procedure Provisions (EPP).

Effective 1 June 2026, the revised ICC Rules introduce the most significant procedural changes in years. The mandatory Terms of Reference have been replaced by a strengthened early case management framework, while tribunals are equipped with new tools to enhance efficiency, including express powers of early determination and expanded expedited mechanisms.

Earlier this year ICC also released the report, Expedited Procedure Provisions: Eight Years On, drawing on the experience of 865 expedited cases administered since 2017. The report highlights how users and tribunals have successfully operated within a streamlined and simplified procedure while maintaining the quality of ICC awards and delivering efficient dispute resolution.

Through an informal and engaging discussion with ICC representatives and leading practitioners, we will explore the thinking behind the 2026 Rules revision, the key findings of the EPP report, and what these developments reveal about the evolving expectations of arbitration users in Korea and across Asia.

Bring your questions, experiences, and perspectives as we discuss how efficiency is reshaping the future of international arbitration.
